Middle leg – Large

This part is a thick, long, tapered aluminum bar that passes through many consecutive steps, from stamping, bending, countersinking and edge grinding to painting and tapping, so a deviation in one step can carry over and shift the final dimensions.
Aluminum is soft and easily scratched or deformed while moving between steps, and the outer surface needs particular care because the finished part must look clean and uniform.
The countersunk holes must be round, free of burrs and at the correct depth, since they affect how the screws seat flush.
Since every piece is painted, the ground surface must be clean and smooth so the paint coats evenly without visible defects.
