Driver Plate

The material used is 65Mn, a Chinese carbon steel grade comparable to SK5 under the JIS standard. Although it is a cost-effective material, its quality can vary significantly from lot to lot. As a result, even when the proper clearance is maintained during the stamping process, the sheared and fractured surfaces may appear as shown in the image.

Since the product requires a high degree of flatness, it undergoes quenching and annealing while being securely fixed in a dedicated fixture to minimize distortion during heat treatment.
