This part is a thin 0.5mm frame with multiple right-angle bent tabs at the corners and edges, requiring precise tooling to maintain the burring hole height at a minimum of 0.7mm, ensuring sufficient thread engagement for the later M3 tapping step. Because the material is thin and bent in multiple directions, it’s prone to warping or hole misalignment if press force is uneven. Additionally, since M3 tapping is performed after nickel plating, care must be taken to prevent the plating layer from clogging the holes or affecting thread accuracy.
